• Project S.A.V.E. (Safe Schools Against Violence in Education) is legislation that was passed by former New York Govenor Pataki in July of 2000.  All BOCES, charter school, and public school districts in NYS are affected by the legislation.  For full information about the Project SAVE legislation, click here. 
Course Schedule:

June 11, 2009- Thursday (5:30-7:30pm)

July 16, 2009 note date and time change- Thursday (12:30-2:30pm)

August 19, 2009- Weds. (1:30-3:30pm)

September 17, 2009- Thurs.(3:30-5:30pm)

October 12, 2009- Monday (5:30-7:30pm)

November 5, 2009- Thurs. (3:30-5:30pm)

December 16, 2009- Weds. (5:30-7:30pm)

• **Save $10 when registering for both Violence Prevention and Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (total for both trainings is $70). Individual courses are $40 each.

A check or money order can be made out to Capital Region BOCES. Please do not send case.  Completed registration form and fee must be mailed to the Student Support Service Center (900 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12205).  For registration confirmation click here.  A certificate of completion will be provided to participants at the end of class.

** Participants may bring food to the trainings, due to the timeframe.

Please note: Sign-in begins 30 minutes prior to the start of class.   We will not be able to award a certificate of completion to late arrivals.
